Top Gun January 2015

Some changes have been introduced for Top Gun in 2015. Here’s how it will work going forward.

Sales Award
The top three sales people in total volume sold will determine the store winner. The awards will be as follows:

  1. Winning store receives celebration funds in the amount of $200 for their entire Sales and Finance Team.
  2. The highest volume salesperson will also receive a $100 gift card to purchase logo attire and a flexible schedule for the next month allowing them to set their own hours.

Service Award
The winning store will be determined by the overall Service Satisfaction Score provided by each Manufacturer as compared to the Region Average score. The highest percent attainment by a Service Advisor will be recognized.

The winning store will receive a $300 award to be used to celebrate as a Service Team.

Here are the results for January.

GI Construction

We’re in the middle of some pretty serious construction at the Grand Island Ford store. There’s been quite a lot of progress over the last year at Anderson, and the updates to this store are an exciting part of that.

The updates will include a new two-lane service drive, which you can see below with the new cinder block walls being built. The show room is also being completely renovated, along with adding Ford’s new look to the outside of the building. Click here to see the blueprint for what everything will look like when complete.

Much of the staff is camping out across the street at the Kia store while construction goes on. Hang in there guys!

Walls for the new service drive are going up.

2015 Andy Award

The last time we gathered the entire company together, we celebrated our collective progress. We also honored 4 individuals with the second annual Andy Award. This award is here to stay, and we’re excited to carry it forward into the new year.

Throughout 2015, you can come here to fill out a nomination form for anyone you work with that you feel is a good example of our cultural values. Click the checkboxes in the form below to see how each value is defined. We’ll highlight the nominees throughout the year and it will all culminate at the 2015 Christmas party with another award ceremony.

Happy nominating!

Camp Quality Donation

S1414_image

Just in time for Christmas, we delivered a $500 check to the fine folks at Camp Quality of Northwest MO.

Since 1986, Camp Quality has been hosting summer camps and providing year-round support for children with cancer and their families. At the core of what they do, is a desire to “let kids with cancer be kids again.”

This caps off a tremendous year for our non-profit, BPM Inc. Nice work team!

Progress

This year’s Christmas Party saw more Anderson people in one room together than probably at any point before. The final count ended up being nearly 500 people!

If you were to pick out a theme to describe this past year at Anderson, you’d simply say “Progress”. In all kinds of ways, we’re moving forward like we never have before. If you couldn’t join us at the party, or if you’d like to take another look, here’s a video we put together to illustrate some of what that progress has looked like in 2014.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtQ0Ol56njc

It’s exciting to be part of a bigger Team moving things like this forward. Thanks to everyone for your part in making this year one to remember. Get excited for 2015!

Performance Review Examples

As we prepare to complete 2014 performance reviews and look ahead to setting objectives in 2014, we at the People Resource Team wanted to provide you with some tools to make the process smoother.

The following videos are examples of what certain portions of the review might look like. The reviews being done in the video are fictional, so the point is not necessarily the content of what is being said. More so, it is how they are interacting. If you aren’t quite sure how to begin having these (sometimes challenging) conversations with your team, you can use these as a guide for what kind of mood to shoot for and how to introduce certain topics.

There are different examples for both Fixed and Variable included. When you’re ready, click here to download the review form for your own use.
