2016 Health Insurance

Open enrollment time is upon us, and we wanted to provide you with information prior to meetings.

Thank you to those who have provided feedback regarding changes made to the health insurance plan in 2015. Based on our experiences and feedback that we have received, we made the determination to change third party administrators. Effective January 1, 2016, Anderson Auto Group’s health insurance plan will be administrated by UMR, which is owned by United Healthcare.

The main question on your minds, is what does that mean for me?

  1. There will be no increase in premiums in 2016.
  2. All coverage levels will remain the same with the exception an increase in the preventive care benefit.
  3. There will be very little impact in the change in provider network. To verify that your provider is in network, go to www.umr.com, select “find a provider”. Select the United Healthcare Choice Plus Network

Enrollment meeting will be held on the dates listed below. All employees who wish to elect or continue health care coverage will need to attend. If you wish to decline coverage, your people resources representative will be contacting you to sign a waiver.

Monday, December 7th, 10:00 a.m. – Lincoln South
Monday, December 7th, 1:00 p.m. – Lincoln North
Wednesday, December 9th, 11:00 a.m. – St. Joe Ford
Wednesday, December 9th, 1:00 p.m. – St. Joe Kia
Thursday, December 10th, 11:00 a.m. – Grand Island

401k Transition

For those of you that participate in our 401k Plan, we recently transitioned to a different fund management company. We previously used DRS (Digital Retirement Services) and have now switched over to Fidelity.

The 401k benefits themselves remain unchanged. You can access your personal plan details online by going to www.netbenefits.com.

If you have never accessed Fidelity online before, you will be guided through the process necessary to set up your account. You’ll see some screens that look like this.

Click ‘Register Now’ under the new user heading to the right.

November Cruise Contest

Goal

Each department has been given a daily goal, gross profit in all areas except for daily sales in Parts Departments. The contest will run for the month of November and is offered as an incentive to focus our efforts on maximizing the productivity of our people.

Objectives were based on current year performance in the area measured and each store has been given a goal of increasing their average by 20%. Click the green link below to see each department’s objectives.

Award

There will be a total of five awards, one for each Department represented on the chart above. The Leader with the highest percentage improvement from objective will be awarded the trip.

The trip is a 5-day cruise in the Western Carribean, visiting Ocho Rios, Jamaica and the Grand Cayman Islands. The Leader and a guest will be flown to Miami and spend five days in splendor.

The trip is scheduled for late February of 2014.
