You may have seen the blue banners hanging from the ceiling in the service drives. Each one of them describes one of the Anderson Cultural Values. The image above contains all nine of the values. These are the behaviors that are seen amongst team members on a daily basis as we continue to live out the Mission, Because People Matter.
Seeing these values become a reality everyday in the trenches is a work in progress, but it sure is awesome to see stories of people that exemplify the Cultural Values. Our people have great things to offer, and we believe more and more examples of people living the values will come out of the woodwork as time goes on. The Cultural Values are central to what we are building together, and we want to celebrate our team members when there are stories to be told of people making the values a reality.
The Andy Award is one way we are doing that. The tech teams in each market have worked hard to build their own custom trophy, and we’ll be awarding them at the Christmas party on December 7. It’s a traveling trophy, which means these will live at work with their winner for a year, and be given away again at the next year’s Christmas Party. The process for this is pretty simple. We need you to nominate someone that you’ve observed being a good example of one or more of the Cultural Values.
Just use the form below to submit your nominee. Please have your nominations in by December 1. Can’t wait to present these at the first annual Andy Award Ceremony!
