Last August, Because People Matter worked with Hillcrest Transitional Housing to help get a single mom back on her feet. Christie Kelley, is an incredible woman who never stopped fighting to get her kids back and her life back on track. Her story truly a courageous one. Christie clawed her way back from homelessness and helplessness, to being a mom her kids are proud of because of what she was able to overcome.
