We just dropped off the Driven For Success Fiesta at Lincoln Northeast Highschool. We’ve been really encouraged by the response so far. One lucky senior is taking this thing home at the end of the year.

Charity Classic Car Show
The Charity Classic Car Show in St. Joseph was an awesome time. Tons of sweet rides turned up to help out a great cause. Check out the rest of the pictures here on our Facebook page. Be forewarned, you’ll see Dave Walley in a swim cap and bathing suit :).
Drive One 4UR School – Lincoln
We ended up with 249 test drives the other night for Lincoln Southwest. At $20 per test drive, the final total looks to be $4,980 raised for the school! Check out the rest of the photos here.
St. Joe Honda Construction
The new home for our St. Joe Honda store is coming along nicely. This store will be connected to the Ford store once all the construction is done.
Grand Island Facelift
We just finished tearing out the sales tower and installing all new furniture in the Grand Island Ford Store. Its looking pretty great. You’ll also notice the Honda Powersports inventory on the showfloor courtesy of St. Joe Honda and our acquisition of that brand there.
Awesome Donation Opportunity
In August, our Lincoln Facebook community raised over $1,700 for Clinic With A Heart! For the past several months, we’ve been partnering with local charities via Facebook, donating $1 for every like on our page during the month. We’ve seen a pretty great response, and the community has been very appreciative. This month we’re linked up with Tabitha Healthcare Services. Lincoln Team Members can get involved by “liking” our page, and informing guests so they can do the same. Every like = $1 for charity! You can go here to find out more.
2013 Mazda CX-5
The 2013 CX-5 is a completely new compact crossover from Mazda slated for release early next year. The guys from Car and Driver took it for a test drive and had some great things to say about their experience with the all-new vehicle. Through the use of SkyActiv engine technology, Mazda has been able to engineer an estimated 30+ MPG from an SUV without the use of hybrid technology.
Driven For Success
We’re pretty excited about the Driven For Success Program. We’ve partnered with themarketingheaven.com to take to the social media and spread words of encouragement to high school students in Lincoln towards good grades and perfect attendance. Anderson will give away one 32GB iPod touch every quarter to a student from each high school in Lincoln, for a total of four iPods per school per year. We’re also giving away a brand new Fiesta to one lucky senior at the end of the year!
For our Lincoln team members, they can direct people to drivenforsuccess.com, or to our Facebook page to get involved. Until we give it away, the new Fiesta will be driven by a teacher at each school throughout the year. We just dropped it off at Lincoln Christian for Math Teacher Megan Lund to drive.

St. Joe Honda is now part of the Anderson family! We’re excited for the opportunity to offer Honda Powersports equipment to our customers. The current location at 2135 South 8th St. will be moved to our existing facility at the Ford Store on the beltway.
