Rescued Readers Donation

BPM1313_post

Our St. Joe team partnered with an awesome organization called Rescued Readers. This non-profit creates partnerships between American and African students, seeking to put books into the hands of African kids that can’t get them anywhere else. They do great work, and you can read more about it here on their website. St. Joe made a BPM Inc. donation of $250 to their cause. Way to go team!

Ladies & Gentlemen… Start waxing! The 3rd Annual Anderson Charity Classic Car, Truck & Bike show is just around the corner. And with More door prizes, raffles and a 50/50 pot, it’s gonna be bigger, better & badder than the last two combined. We have Car Trophies, Truck Trophies, Bike Trophies plus an Overall Show Trophy for the lucky winners and great cause to do it for as well as all entry feee money goes to The Dream Factory of NorthWest Missouri.  Mark your calendars for September 15, and consider helping run the event too. There’s plenty opportunities to help out for this great cause that helps people in the Saint Joseph & surrounding communities. Please contact Alice Stepanek at 816-383-8066 if you can help make this happen in St. Joe.

Over $10k for St. Joe UCP

Once again, the St. Joe team participated in the 27th Annual Chili Challenge in support of United Cerebral Palsy. We helped raise over $10,000 in support of this awesome local organization. Way to go St. Joe team! We also took home first place for Best Decorations, which is no surprise given the tuxedo T-Shirts. Thanks to every one that came out and gave of their time to help out. Check out some great photos from the event below:

Helping the YWCA

The Christmas season is one to enjoy with family, but also one to remember those in our community that are lonely, in-need, and hurting. St. Joe did a great job gathering gifts for the local YWCA shelter to benefit abused women and children.

Car Care Clinic

We had yet another great night of helping out single moms in our community. Our techs at the Lincoln north store gave of their personal time to fix 11 cars free of charge. Way to go guys! Tom Osborne was around for another event as well and Mike had the chance to give him a tour of the shop while the techs worked.
