Our stores have been taking time again this year to share a Thanksgiving meal together, and St. Joe kicked off the season with a pretty sweet set up–extra points for whoever did the curled ribbon on the balloons 🙂
Looking good guys!

Looking good guys!
There have been some great nights for baseball lately, and the St. Joe crew recently took some R&R at the Mustangs game. Nice!
Side note: that hot dog set up is not taking any chances.
St. Joe just concluded their latest Car Care Clinic in service of Veterans, single parents & people in need in our community. These events are an awesome way for us to directly impact an urgent need for people in St. Joseph. The BPM team worked with The 139th Airlift Wing, Catholic Charities, Pregnancy Resource Center & Habitat for Humanity to identify people in need. Our Quicklane techs, Service techs as well as people from Parts, Detail and the BPM team gave of their own time to spend an evening fixing vehicles for people that need it the most, for no charge. While the techs are hard at work, we also hosted dinner for the moms.
Kassie Collins, one of the widows we helped in the clinic, lost her husband in 2003 while he was serving in Iraq. She has recently joined the Americorps Vista program and is now serving veterans as a Prevention Coordinator with CADCA/Vetcorps. Her daughter, Landry Collins, did and outstanding job helping us paint faces of the children there. The event was very appreciated and some were move to tears commenting,
“I can’t believe you’d do this sort of thing for someone like me.”
These events aren’t possible without the volunteered time of our dedicated St. Joseph team. Way to go and thank you for making such a big difference for People Who Matter there in St. Joseph! Check out the photos from the event below.
Our St. Joe team partnered with an awesome organization called Rescued Readers. This non-profit creates partnerships between American and African students, seeking to put books into the hands of African kids that can’t get them anywhere else. They do great work, and you can read more about it here on their website. St. Joe made a BPM Inc. donation of $250 to their cause. Way to go team!
Ladies & Gentlemen… Start waxing! The 3rd Annual Anderson Charity Classic Car, Truck & Bike show is just around the corner. And with More door prizes, raffles and a 50/50 pot, it’s gonna be bigger, better & badder than the last two combined. We have Car Trophies, Truck Trophies, Bike Trophies plus an Overall Show Trophy for the lucky winners and great cause to do it for as well as all entry feee money goes to The Dream Factory of NorthWest Missouri.  Mark your calendars for September 15, and consider helping run the event too. There’s plenty opportunities to help out for this great cause that helps people in the Saint Joseph & surrounding communities. Please contact Alice Stepanek at 816-383-8066 if you can help make this happen in St. Joe.
Once again, the St. Joe team participated in the 27th Annual Chili Challenge in support of United Cerebral Palsy. We helped raise over $10,000 in support of this awesome local organization. Way to go St. Joe team! We also took home first place for Best Decorations, which is no surprise given the tuxedo T-Shirts. Thanks to every one that came out and gave of their time to help out. Check out some great photos from the event below:
