Things are really progressing nicely around here with the construction updates. It’s coming together!

Kia-Mitsubishi Ribbon Cutting
After months of construction, the Anderson Kia-Mitsubishi crew is finally moved in to their new store. It was sure worth the wait; this store is looking awesome!
The Chamber of Commerce and members of the local media were on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning, and all were in good spirits as we gathered to celebrate the opening.
Between this $1.5 million renovation and the updates in progress at the Ford Store, we hope to significantly increase our presence and footprint in the St. Joseph market. The vision is really starting to take shape, and exciting days are ahead.
Awesome work by Bob Bledsoe and his team pushing through the construction and mess. They even managed to sell a bunch of cars while they were waiting for the new building 🙂
Good Luck Ravi!
It’s been a great nine years Ravi!
We wish him the best of luck and a sincere congratulations on being accepted into the Nebraska State Patrol Academy.
Chicken Shootout
The opening date for our new convenience store, Andy’s Express, will be here sooner than we think. Part of the preparation is making decisions about what kind of food will be served at the store.
Today was an important step in doing that, and the folks at the Mazda store got to do some delicious voting on what food from different vendors. Today, as you can see, we were primarily looking at fried chicken. Whatever brand we end up giving with, the final verdict for the day = delicious.
Mitsubishi Showroom Progress
Construction continues on the Mitsubishi Showroom in St. Joe. Looking good guys! For those of you outside St. Joseph, this construction is taking place on the same lot as our Kia store there.
We’ll have two separate showrooms on the same property in order to better merchandize our product and better serve the customer. It’s exciting to see the place take shape.
10 Year Vision
“Where are we going?”
“What are we doing and why?”
“How do I fit in to the bigger picture?”
These are some of the most important questions that our company has to answer. And frankly, they are questions that you and me–all of us as Anderson Team members–should expect a compelling answer to. In case you missed the Christmas Party, check out the video above. The Directional Team has spent significant time and energy addressing these issues and plotting the course for the future. It boils down to this:
Our Mission, “Because People Matter, we will serve your needs by always doing what is right” is the reason we keep our doors open. We believe so strongly in this, that we think it should be at the center of Anderson’s strategic plan. That’s why we’ve created a Ten Year Vision for the company. It’s the highest level plan we’ve got, and it’s deeply rooted in our Mission.
The 10 Year Vision stands as an answer to the three questions above. It can be broken up into six parts, and everything we do as a business fits underneath one of them.
- Increasing Market Footprint
- Diversification of Business
- Next Generation Leaders
- Team Member Life Wellness
- Multiplied Vision
- BPM Inc.
That means that regardless of what you do on a daily basis, your contribution is helping move the 10 Year Vision forward. None of this would be possible without your hard work and dedication as part of the Team.
