Training Questionnaire

We believe that proper training and continued development is important for every person at Anderson, and we’re working to create some tools that will make training more effective across the board. To help us do that, it would be great if you could take two minutes to answer a couple survey questions.

These are totally anonymous, and will only be used for the purpose of developing training materials that will be most beneficial for everyone.

Thanks!

Help for Gail

We were introduced to Gail by some great people from a local church, and it soon became apparent that her family was in real need of reliable transportation. Through generous contributions from members of her church and in partnership with our vehicle networks, we had the honor of providing Gail with a donated car. Thanks to the team at the Ford store in Lincoln for helping to make this story a reality!

In case you hadn’t heard, we’ve set a bit of a daring goal this year. We want to give away 100 vehicles via Because People Matter Inc. by the close of 2014. This is way more than we’ve ever done before, and you know what? So far we’re on track to meet or beat that goal! This is making a huge difference in people’s lives.

We’re excited to keep these donations rolling.

A Van For Elizabeth

Vehicle donations have been a strong focus for BPM Inc. in 2014 and we are well on our way to having this year be our largest year for vehicle donations ever.

Pretty awesome to see these vehicles impact the lives of people in need. The most recent example of that happened in St. Joseph with a woman named Elizabeth. She has three children, and tough family circumstances found her without a reliable vehicle.

When we heard Elizabeth’s story, we were reminded of just how crucial a reliable vehicle is. Before we got in touch with her, Elizabeth was taking the bus to work. After missing it one rainy evening, she was forced to walk five miles in a storm. The drenched single-mom of three arrived home two hours later.

You’ve played a part in helping write a new story for Elizabeth. Thanks for everything you do every day!

Help for Neil

G1404_image

One of the most tangible ways we can engage need in our communities is by helping people attain reliable transportation. Our Car Care Clinics have provided much needed vehicle maintenance free of charge to individuals that couldn’t otherwise afford it.

Neil (pictured above) participated in one of our clinics and it soon became clear that the best use of our resources would be to provide for his transportation needs in a different way.

His pickup arrived with some significant problems, and rather than sink money in to additional repairs, we were able to locate a replacement vehicle for Neil. All in an effort to make our dollars go further in service of people in need.

Sometimes the path to helping someone is a little longer than expected, but it’s great to see stories like Neil’s play out to completion. Thanks to the Grand Island Team for your hard work on the recent Car Care Clinic, and for your diligence in following through to help Neil!

Noyes Home Donation

We just dropped off a $500 check to a really great organization serving St. Joseph and the surrounding area. The Noyes Home is a wonderful organization doing vital work in service of youth in our community:

For more than 110 years, the Noyes Home has been a place where a child who is facing a family crisis feels safe, and can just be a child, until the family is able to get back on its feet. The Noyes Home is a place where a family facing eviction or a job loss can talk about their next steps with professionals while their children are cared for with kindness and compassion.

Check out the artwork from the kids!
